Michael Tein appeared in an Ohio federal court on behalf of client Michael Peppel requesting that Mr. Peppel's assests be released so that he may be afforded the opportunity to adequately defend himself. Mr. Tein introduced an expert in the defense of securities matters who stated that Mr. Peppel's trial could last up to 3 months and his legal costs could cost as much as $4 million. The request is pending review by U.S. District Judge Walter H. Rice.
