Alon is Of Counsel to Lewis Tein.

After beginning his career as a litigator at Anderson Kill & Olick and Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, Alon was a partner at Manatt Phelps & Phillips, which merged in 2004 with Parcher, Hayes & Snyder, the boutique litigation firm, where Alon had worked for seven years.

During his twenty years of practice, Alon has successfully obtained the dismissal of more than thirty state and federal actions, including the dismissals of a multi-million dollar  securities fraud, breach of contract actions, and the dismissal with prejudice of a RICO action against major telecommunications company. Alon has won summary judgment on behalf of his clients in matters such as a consumer class action alleging deceptive business practices and a copyright infringement action based on song featured on a group’s double platinum debut album. He has also successfully negotiated favorable settlements in matters including an invasion of privacy, defamation, and right of publicity action brought against a record company and a popular recording artist.  Alon is experienced in representing companies and individuals in all phases of civil litigation in state and federal courts as well as in arbitrations.

Alon has been rated by his peers at the highest level for skill and ethics in practice, “AV,” as reported by Martindale-Hubbell. He has been named a New York area “Super Lawyer” in the 2007 through 2010 editions of New York Super Lawyers.
