Zachary L. Weaver, Esq.

 

Complex Commercial Litigation

Zach received his law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in May 2009. While in law school, he was a member of the University of Miami Law Review, on which he served as a member of the editorial staff and publication review panel. He was also a member of the Moot Court Board and participated in interschool and national competitions. Additionally, Zach completed UM’s highly regarded Litigation Skills Program. Zach joined Lewis Tein, P.L. in September 2008.

Zach is the author of Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” Law: The Actual Effects and the Need for Clarification, 63 U. Miami L. Rev. 395 (2008).

Zach completed his undergraduate degree at Clemson University in 2006, where he earned a B.A. in History, summa cum laude. During his undergraduate career, Zach was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi and Golden Key honor societies and completed an internship with the Greenville County Public Defender.

LICENSES

Zach is admitted to practice in the State of Florida. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
