Lewis Tein also has represented a number of federal, state, and local agents and their family members in a variety of governmental agencies including the DEA, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Attorney's Office, the U.S. Marshals Service, and the U.S. Coast Guard. Lewis Tein also serves as counsel to numerous attorneys in various criminal, civil, and consultative matters. Lewis Tein acts as counsel to court-appointed receiver Guy A. Lewis in the SEC hedge fund enforcement action, “KL Financial.” In that case, Lewis Tein has worked extensively with the Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission to recover funds defrauded from KL Financial investors.
