Michael Tein defends DaVinci Biosciences and DV Biologics, which has been sued by the Orange County district attorney’s office for selling fetal tissue at high prices. The suit claims the markups on the tissue were much higher than the legal limits. The two companies are owned by Andres Isaias, Estefano Isaias Sr., and Estefano Isaias Jr. District Attorney Tony Rackaukas claimed the companies turned fetal tissue donations from Planned Parenthood “into a profit-driven business.”
